Naruto ha terminado su entrenamiento y sale de la cascada, pero Kisame aparece mostrando como sobrevivió cuando batallo contra Killer Bee y el Raikage dentro de su espada Sahameda y una nueva batalla empieza en la isla, Naruto intenta detenerlo pero aun no controla el poder del Kyūbi del todo, entonces Kisame se enfrenta a Guy. Los dos shinobis demuestran todo su potencial en la pelea la cual gana Guy al utilizar el Hirutora venciendo a Kisame.
