La batalla entre el equipo Guy y Kisame comienza mientras Kakashi explica el peligro del Mangekyo Sharingan de Itachi Uchiha al resto de su equipo y revela lo que él ha descubierto ser su debilidad. El equipo Guy rápidamente es derrotado y Might Guy es obligado a luchar solo contra Kisame. Kakashi ataca a Itachi junto con Naruto pero después éste se ve obligado a luchar contra tres Itachi.
